In 1989, the current owner Ed Phillips had an article about the car published in the Mustang Illustrated magazine.   The story about how Ed found the car in a feed barn is interesting.

In May of 1990, the Pantera Owners Club of America republished the Mustang Illustrated article about #1887 in the POCA news letter as the feature story.
